Elderly residents gathered to celebrate the release of their charity single.
The Anchor Community Band recorded the track called ‘See Yourself’ in a bid to raise funds for Contact the Elderly, which organises monthly tea parties for older people living alone.
The party to celebrate the single’s release was held at St Mary’s Fold, in St Mary’s Road, off Sticker Lane.
Jeanette Wright, 55, one of the band members, said she had had a great time recording the song.
She said: “All of us in the band have been on a fantastic journey from learning the words, rehearsing and recording the song.”
The single is available as a CD on Amazon and a download on Amazon and iTunes.
