Four men wearing bandanas over their faces attacked the victim, 21, in the park near Crossways during the early hours.

The gang stole a silver locket and chain of sentimental value, £40 in cash and house keys, and the victim was also kicked several times suffering minor injuries.

Three of the men are described as white, with three of them aged between 20-25 years.

The fourth, thought to be older, was of medium build, around 5ft 10ins and wore a peak cap with a gold New Error badge. He also had a small knife.
