TWO men have appeared in court following a series of police raids across North Manchester.
As part of Operation Cairo, officers raided four houses on April 10 and 25 people were charged.
They included Arslan Aftab, aged 24, of Hillwood Avenue, Prestwich, who is charged with multiple counts of supplying heroin and cocaine and Jenico Maguire, aged 20, of Windsor Avenue, Whitefield, who is charged with producing cannabis, supplying heroin and possessing heroin with intent to supply.
Aftab and Maguire appeared before Manchester magistrates yesterday and did not enter a plea.
The bench sent their cases to Manchester Crown Court, where a preliminary hearing is due to take place on April 25.
Both men have been remanded in custody until then.
