Motorists face delays as motorways road works start
10:00am Saturday 23rd March 2013 in News
Roadworks will cause overnight closures on motorways next week.
Moderate delays are expected on the M62 between junction 25 (Brighouse) and junction 30 (Rothwell) due to gantry, resurfacing and drainage work.
The westbound carriageway between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 26 (Chain Bar) will be closed overnight on Monday with a diversion across the junction.
Between junctions 26 and 27, the westbound carriageway will be closed for two nights on Tuesday and Wednesday for traffic monitoring equipment to be installed.
All closures take place between 8pm and 6am, and diversions will be in place.
Delays are also expected on the M606 at junction 1 (Chain Bar) south of Bradford due to resurfacing. The southbound exit slip road and one lane will be closed from 8pm tomorrow until 6am on Sunday.
