Wyke man, 33, denies robbing Bradford pawn-brokers

A 33-year-old man is to stand trial at Bradford Crown Court accused of armed robbery at the Cash for Gold pawnbrokers in James Street in Bradford city centre on November 7 last year.

Richard Fearn, of Ivy Bank, Wyke, Bradford, yesterday pleaded not guilty to robbing a woman staff member of more than £2,000.

He also denied having a firearm, or an imitation firearm, with intent to commit a robbery.

Fearn was remanded back into custody by Recorder Graham Hyland QC to stand trial on April 17.
