Hipperholme Grammar School pupils raise cash for Comic Relief

Kind-hearted pupils at Hipperholme Grammar School raised £730 for Comic Relief by baking and wearing their bed wear to school.

Competition was extremely fierce to attract customers and take the most money, said Kate Wilson, head of sixth form.

Headteacher Jack Williams said: “Once again, our pupils have shown immense enthusiasm and dedication in supporting children less fortunate than themselves. They are a shining example of how much fun and enjoyment can be achieved by working together as a team. I have no doubt they will go on to be entrepreneurs and role models for the next generation.”
