Children had a classical start to their day when the music of Beethoven and Mozart welcomed them to school.

Teachers at Windhill Primary School, in Wrose Brow Road, Shipley, were pushing the message of how important a healthy breakfast is yesterday.

Pupils tucked into cereals provided by Asda as part of the ‘wake-up, shake-up’ session to get them motivated.

Pupil welfare officer Helen Fortune said: “We’re trying to promote healthy eating and having your breakfast and the effects that can have on your learning.”
