Optician stores are appealing for unwanted clothing to lead a fundraising drive in aid of Bradford’s sick children.
Specsavers’ ‘Big Clothes Drop’ is looking for garments in good condition, including women’s, men’s, children’s and babies’ fashion.
The donations will be sold by staff at car boot sales across the district this summer and a grand fundraising total will be announced at the end of the summer with all proceeds going to The Bradford Hospitals Children’s Charity Trust Fund.
Money raised will go towards children's wards, neonatal unit, outpatients department, community teams and child development centre to help make patients and families’ stay at hospital as comfortable as possible.
