A mass breakout occurred from Keighley prison cells – but there was no need to panic!

Five teams took part in a jailbreak to raise swag for Manorlands.

And the event netted over £1,900 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.

Teams set off from the authentic cells in the police museum at Keighley Civic Centre with the aim of travelling as far as possible by midnight on Saturday, without spending any of their own money.

The winning team, Diamond Back, managed to cover 1,224 miles – and reached Slovenia.

Organisers, from Leeds Metropolitan University’s event management course, thanked everyone who gave their support.
