Skipton and Craven Action for Disability gets £140,000 from Big Lottery Fund

A group which offers transport so people with disabilities can take part in activities has been awarded £140,232 from the Big Lottery Fund. Skipton and Craven Action for Disability will use the cash to develop a new programme offering wheelchair accessible transport to allow isolated disabled people to take part in swimming, photography, indoor bowls, bingo and art, helping to improve their independence, confidence and wellbeing.
