Yorkshire Cat Rescue in call to neuter cats

The arrival of the first pregnant cats of 2013 has prompted a cat and welfare charity to urge owners to act responsibly. Yorkshire Cat Rescue, based in Cross Roads, Keighley, wants people to neuter and spay their cats to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

Shelter manager Sam Davies said: “Last year we had to make urgent room for a large number of pregnant cats and mums with very young kittens.”
