Keighley MP Kris Hopkins backs tax-free childcare

Keighley MP Kris Hopkins has given his backing to news that ministers plan to introduce a tax-free childcare system which, when fully implemented, will be worth up to £1,200 every year for each child under age 12.
From the first year of operation in 2015, all children under five will be eligible, initially opening the scheme to 1.3 million families.
Mr Hopkins said: “This is a very positive development for parents across Keighley and Ilkley. It heralds the launch of a new scheme that will bring meaningful assistance with the often crippling costs of childcare.”
