Drug dealer jailed for 28 months

A drug dealer has been jailed for 28 months after three kilogrammes of MCAT were seized from his home.

Officers had found £7,000 in cash inside Dean Waterhouse’s BMW X5 and search of his flat at Rodley Hall in Town Street, Rodley, uncovered the methedrone worth £45,000.

A further £5,000 in cash was also found along with drugs paraphernalia.

Waterhouse, 38, was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court yesterday after he admitted at an earlier hearing possession with intent to supply Class B drugs .

After the case Detective Inspector Neil Hollis, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “The drugs found at Waterhouse’s flat were clearly intended for the streets, so we are pleased to not only see him now behind bars, but to have been able to prevent this MCAT from getting into the community.”
