Cullingworth contest a tribute to councillor

Children are urged to enter an annual award held in memory of a former Cullingworth village councillor.
Organisers want youngsters to visit local beauty spots before completing work for the Jane Breen Award.
Coun Breen was keen on environment issues as well as working with children and young people.
She instigated the award before her death in 2011.
The competition runs each year with separate sections for Cullingworth Primary School, Parkside School and uniformed groups.
Current village councillors Pauline Sharp and Mary Galvin, the award organisers, plan to adopt a tree theme this year to tie in with their work improving village beauty spot The Dell.
