Artistic feast will celebrate landmark at City Park

The first anniversary of the official opening of City Park in Bradford will be marked on Saturday with a feast of music, dance, street theatre, have-a-go activities, exhibitions, and theatre.

There will be an interactive arts installation, live ice sculpture demonstrations, as part of a series of activities called Reflection. Handmade in Bradford, arts and craft stalls, food and lots more fun and some surprises will also be on offer.

Bradford’s leading local artists use dance, music and street theatre performances, creative happenings and public participation.

Irresistible by Mind the Gap will be performed from 6pm.

Cubism by Mohammed Ali is on show. Kala Sangam and Punjabi Roots will also be at the event which is held from noon until 7pm.
