10:00am Monday 18th March 2013 in News
Bradford’s City of Film team is holding a seminar identifying opportunities for women in film and television production, as part of the 19th Bradford International Film Festival.
Speakers from the BBC, Screen Yorkshire, Creative England, London Indian Film Festival and Women in Film and Television will attend the Insider Knowledge seminar at Bradford 1 Gallery Studio, Bradford College, on Friday, April 19, from 10am.
Participants will receive advice from some of the UK’s leading industry professionals and the sessions will be followed by the opportunity for one-to-one discussions with speakers.
David Wilson, director of Bradford City of Film, said: “This is a great opportunity to get first-hand advice and information from women already working in the film and TV industry.
“This event is now the third in the Bradford UNESCO City of Film Insider Knowledge series where we aim to give people opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge in relation to film and the moving image industry.” Television executive Liz Molyneux said: “You’re never too experienced to benefit from the insight of others. The event promises to share a few secrets.”
