Burglar fills up pillow case with electronic goods and games after breaking into home

Police yesterday appealed for information after a burglar threw a brick through a window, climbed inside and filled a pillow case with electrical items.

A police spokesman said a burglar threw a full brick through the window of a flat in Windsor Walk, Birstall, smashing the glass.

The suspect then climbed inside, took a blue pillow case and filled it with items, including an XBox games console, Sony PS3 games console, an iPod Classic and a small cash box containing over-the-counter medicines.

Anyone who saw the burglary. which took place at about 11am on Sunday, or who has any information should call Batley, Birstall and Birkenshaw Neighbourhood Policing Team, via the non-emergency number 101.
