2:00pm Saturday 16th March 2013 in News By Telegraph & Argus
A £5,000 reward is being offered as part of a nationwide police search for the driver of a Volvo which failed to stop at the scene of a fatal collision in Dorset.
Detectives want to trace the driver of a Volvo XC90 which struck 16-year-old girl Jade Clark as she rode her scooter along the A31 near Ashley Heath at 8.23pm on Sunday, February 24.
The case is now a joint investigation between the Force’s Major Crime Investigation Team and the Traffic Department with a team of officers visiting all registered keepers of Volvo XC90s registered between 2003 and 2007, including those with personalised registrations.
The cash reward is only available through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 24:393 and if the information leads to conviction.
