A new stay-and-play group, will open at a Bradford church next month.
Called Little Stars it will be held at St Paul’s Church Rooms in Church Street, Manningham, for all children of pre-school age.
And parents, grandparents and carers are all welcome, said organiser Elizabeth Fewkes: ‘There will be a variety of activities available for all who come and their children to enjoy together,” she said.
“These will include craft activities, play, snack time, stories and singing.
“It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends as well as helping to shape these Little Stars futures.”
The group will start on April 16 and will meet every Tuesday from 9.30am to 11.30am during term time.
There will be a charge of 20p for refreshments for adults and children.
At the first meeting Susan Brewster-Craig, of Book Start, will be there to hand out free books for the children and information leaflets for parents and carers.
Susan Holmes, of Bradford Under Fives Association, which has helped get the group up and running will also attend.
