Teenager, 15, held over drugs wraps

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs.

The teenager, of Thornbury, had £300 on him when he was detained by police. The suspected drugs – about 50 wraps – were discovered in a nearby garden.

Officers had earlier spotted a suspicious vehicle in Airedale Crescent, Undercliffe. It was abandoned just before the boy was arrested.

Enquiries are ongoing by dedicated drugs officers. The vehicle was seized for no insurance.
