Former rugby star Paul Sampson and his wife, TV personality Kirsty Gallacher, are supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
They visited the Marie Curie hospice in Bradford, where Mr Sampson’s father was cared for, to promote the campaign. Mr Sampson, a former pupil at Woodhouse Grove School in Apperley Bridge, has lined up events as part of his testimonial year for the appeal, which asks people to wear a daffodil in March. To help the appeal, call Lucy Burnett on (01274) 337017, or visit marie curie.org.uk/daffodil.
