Clayton Heights singer's hopes for talent contest

Singer Hannah Marsden
A Bradford teenager, who impressed Simon Cowell at auditions for his TV show Britain’s Got Talent last year, has reached the regional finals of a national talent contest.
Hannah Marsden, 16, of Clayton Heights, won Bradfactor last year and is now competing against youngsters from across the region in Teenstar.
A pupil at Buttershaw Business and Enterprise College, Hannah is also auditioning for a place at Leeds College of Music.
“She did so well on Britain’s Got Talent, she wowed Simon Cowell and David Walliams said her voice was haunting,” said Hannah’s mother, Sarah Lin Marsden.
“She has been singing all her life, it’s all she ever wanted to do. She writes her own material and has recorded songs with various producers.”
The regional finals of Teenstar will take place at Sheffield City Hall on March 31.
For tickets, ring Sarah Lin Marsden on 07912 681494.
