Ilkley pupils' exam success

Staff and pupils at Westville House School in Ilkley are celebrating exceptional entrance school exam results this year, with all their Year 6 pupils obtaining places at their first choice of senior school.

There was a 100 per cent pass rate for those children who sat the Ermysted’s Grammar and Skipton Girls’ High School exams.

Five pupils were awarded scholarships to their chosen school. Other schools which have offered places are Sedbergh School, Giggleswick School, Bradford Grammar, The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL), Woodhouse Grove, Ashville College, St Olave’s and Queen Margaret’s in York.
