New purpose for Keighley Methodist church
11:00am Tuesday 12th March 2013 in News
A Methodist building in Keighley now closed for worship will remain in use as a community building.
Several groups still meet at Wesley Place Methodist Church, off Halifax Road, in Ingrow.
The congregation at Wesley Place Methodist Church disbanded last December and now attend different churches around Keighley.
The worshippers decided to stop holding services due to their advancing years and a dwindling congregation which had fallen to about 15.
Anyone wishing to hire the hall, which is accessed off Haincliffe Road, should contact the Reverend Exley-Watts on (01535) 602669.
