Children join Braithwaite clean-up
1:50pm Monday 11th March 2013 in News
Toddlers and schoolchildren will be joining in a community clean-up in Braithwaite, Keighley.
People of all ages are expected to pick up litter from various parts of the estate during the morning of Tuesday, March 19.
Members of the Our Lady of Victories parent and toddler group will clear up around the primary school.
Pupils at Merlin Top Primary School will spend time between lessons clearing around the entrance to their site on Braithwaite Avenue.
The clean-up, which also involves police and council officers, is being organised by community development worker Tracey Shorten.
She said everyone was welcome to take part, and should meet at the Kingfisher Community Centre, next to Merlin Top School, on the day at 10am.
Refreshments will be available afterwards at the centre.
