Mums to hold event in Laycock, Keighley
7:38pm Friday 8th March 2013 in News
A group of Keighley mothers will host a tea party and pamper event in Laycock to help youngsters with cancer.
Rachel Lackey, Rana Wall and Sharon Cope will be raising money for children and young people’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
The afternoon will also include a raffle, silent auction, and treatments including facials, massages and reflexology.
The event on March 16 at Laycock Village Hall is part of CLIC Sargent’s Great Mums Get Together fundraising initiative.
During next week, mothers are being encouraged to hold any type of event from cake sales and coffee mornings to dinner parties and pamper nights.
Rachel, a volunteer co-ordinator for CLIC Sargent in Leeds, decided to get some of her friends involved.
The event runs from 1pm to 3pm. Tickets cost £5 from the Livery Rooms in North Street, Keighley, the Turkey Inn at Goose Eye, Oakworth, or by contacting rachel.
