Bingley-based brain tumour charity urges companies whose workforce wear hats to back campaign

Companies whose workforce wear hats are being urged to back a brain tumour charity’s campaign.

BTRS (Brain Tumour Research and Support across Yorkshire), formerly Andrea’s Gift based in Bingley, is encouraging companies to take a photo of their hat-wearing staff on ‘Wear a Hat Day’ - March 28 - which can be shared on the charity’s website. In addition they are asking staff of the companies to make a £1 donation per hat worn to participate in the awareness-raising day.

The charity, formerly known as Andrea’s Gift, was set up in memory of Bradford mum, Andrea Key (above), who died from a brain tumour in 2002.
