Two pupils from Belle Vue Girls School have an extra special card to give to their mums tomorrow.
Romessa Parvez, 11, and Fozia Bi, 14, won a Mother’s Day card design competition and had their sketches turned into cards by neighbouring company Hallmark.
They were presented with ten cards each at the school in Thorn Lane, Bradford, yesterday.
Assistant head teacher Tess Wilkins said around 55 pupils entered the competition and 18 designs were sent to Sophie Cliff at Hallmark to pick a winner.
Mrs Wilkins said: “The designs were absolutely beautiful, much more detailed than I ever would have expected. They put masses of work into them “We had a really strong range of designs.”
