Bradford Festival Choral Society prepares for series of concerts

Bradford Festival Choral Society is preparing for a busy spring season.

The first, at Bradford Grammar School on Saturday, March 23, features Howard Goodall’s requiem Eternal Light and Seven Sea Songs, an exhilarating song cycle by 20th century composer Tony Hewitt-Jones.

The next is Choral Classics at St Margaret's Church, Ilkley, on Saturday, May 11. Anyone interested in joining the choir is invited to a ‘Come and Sing’ event in the afternoon, followed by the concert in the evening.

And on Friday, June 14, the choir will be at Bradford’s City Park, accompanied by other community and children’s choirs and a symphony orchestra.
