A person has been hit by a train at Saltaire, according to operators Northern Rail.

The incidnet is likely to cause major disruption to services on all routes between Bradford and Skipton.

Emergency services are at the scene.

Northern Railway said in a statement on Twitter: "A person has been strcuk by a train at Saltaire, expect delays and cancellations while emergency services attend. Leeds - Skipton Line.'

A statement on the National Rail Enquiries website said: A person has been hit by a train at Saltaire.
Because of this, trains between Leeds / Bradford Forster Square and Skipton may be delayed by up to 60 minutes. These delays will continue until further notice."
