Public urged to attend Keighley Annual Town Meeting

Councillors are keen to attract more members of the public to Keighley’s Annual Town Meeting, which takes place later this month.

The meeting will be held in the Civic Centre, in North Street, at 7pm on Thursday, March 21. It is designed to give people a chance to have their say about Keighley Town Council and to raise other issues of concern.

Keighley mayor Councillor George Metcalf will chair the meeting and present his review of the year.

There will also be refreshments, and people will have a chance to look around the civic centre.

Coun Margaret Ward said: “Keighley’s councillors would very much like to talk to concerned citizens in person, and the annual town meeting would be an ideal place for issues to be raised, questions asked, and answers sought.”
