4:01pm Thursday 7th March 2013 in News
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe
Shoppers will be able to browse a variety of stalls and pick up a gift for their mum at a Mother’s Day market in Shipley today and tomorrow.
More than 40 stalls selling everything from chocolates, flowers, handbags and beauty items to Thai and West African crafts will be in the town centre.
Today, as part of Climate Change Week visitors will also be able to see an electric car and find out how to drive more efficiently.
The stalls, open from 9am to 5pm, will be on the Market Square and Well Croft and at Shipley outdoor market.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, executive member for employment skills and culture said: “This is the fourth year that we have organised this market, which is a great family event.”
