Saltaire Primary School pupils turn trash to treasure

Children turned trash into treasure in an eco-friendly model building contest.
Pupils at Saltaire Primary School got creative with left-over packaging to construct more than 100 models. The school’s learning mentor Chris Evans said: “There were absolutely tons of them.
“There were some amazing creations – cars, trains, hot air balloons, all sorts. It was fantastic.”
Winning the prize for best model were brothers Yash and Ishaan Wilson, pictured, who made a train from old Yorkshire Tea and other packaging.
