Brands expert to inspire women at Ilkley session

An author and personal branding expert will tell women how they can stand out from the crowd as part of an International Women’s Day celebration in Ilkley tomorrow.
The Aspiring Women’s Network will be joined by author of Personal Branding for Brits, Jennifer Holloway, who will give a talk on how women can promote themselves.
She said: “Women’s natural instinct is to do a good job and hope that their work will speak for itself. In today’s competitive world and for women to advance, this is simply not enough. Promoting yourself and your personal brand is vital for career growth and business success.”
The event will take place from noon to 2pm at Clevedon retirement village in Ben Rhydding Drive, and includes lunch and networking. Women from across the area are invited.
