8:00am Tuesday 5th March 2013 in News
A gun is believed to have been fired between two vehicles on a roundabout in Bradford early yesterday.
Police say two cars were involved in an altercation in the centre of Clayton at about 2.50am, at the junction of Town End Road, Bradford Road and Green End.
Two vehicles are believed to have travelled up Low Lane at Clayton and on to the roundabout.
A police spokesman said: “Reports suggest that a firearm may have been discharged, although this has not been confirmed.”
The roads leading to the roundabout were closed while scenes of crime officers conducted a search. Police have also been making enquires in the area and reassuring the public.
Following the incident, the two vehicles – a black Volkswagen Bora and a black Vauxhall Astra – were seen on Great Horton Road.
Any witnesses, or anyone with information, can ring police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
