An African-themed restaurant has opened in Bradford.

Ariya Restaurant and Bar in Great Horton Road, Bradford, was officially opened by Council leader Councillor David Green.

Owner Edward Ogunkoya said the menu covers a range of authentic African food at affordable prices. The standard price for a main dish is about £6.

Mr Ogunkoya said: “I wanted to bring an African-themed restaurant to Bradford as there isn’t anything like this in the city. I wanted to bring it to people who enjoy this cuisine or are interested in trying. The restaurant is also appropriately decorated with cultural masks on the walls.”
