Crash causes rail delays in Bradford

Train services in and out of Bradford Interchange were affected today after a vehicle hit a bridge. The crash, on Mill Lane, happened at 11.45am. A spokesman for Northern Rail said it was a minor crash and that services were only affected for 20 minutes. “It was only a precaution and we just slowed trains down as they were passing over it,” said the spokesman. “We had line speed back at 12.05pm and it was declared clear at 12.10pm.”
