Islamic Mission is working for homeless
9:00am Tuesday 5th March 2013 in News
The UK Islamic Mission in Bradford is working with mosque leaders to give food to homeless youngsters.
Extra homeless and needy are expected this year in and around Bradford.
UKIM Bradford and Bradford Imam Forum (BIF) have said that they rely on food donors, who are few in number from the Asian and Muslim community in Bradford and West Yorkshire.
A spokesman said: “Authorities are anticipating a possible shortage of food supply. We are asking for more donors to meet with demand in case of any emergency. UKIM and BIF appeals to all Muslims to come forward for this good cause and donate food. It is saving the future for our youngsters in need and also good for your own community. Our centres are your nearest venue for food and other donations for Bradford City Centre Project.”
