Pupils across Bradford will learn to be savvy with their cash during a financial education week.

My Money Week, which runs from June 3 to 9, aims to support teachers in educating children and teenagers about how to manage their finances.

It is run by financial education charity Pfeg (Personal Finance Education Group) and Barclays Bank.

Last year, Beckfoot School and South Craven School took part in the activities, and the charity said it hoped they would be joined by many other schools in Bradford this year.

Tracey Bleakley, Pfeg chief executive, said: “This year My Money Week is going to be bigger and better – and I hope that every school in Bradford will take the chance to get involved using our free support and resources.
