Three Bradford property developments are in the running for an industry ‘Oscar’.

City Park, the Appleton Academy building at Wyke and Yorkshire Water’s bio-energy project at Esholt sewage works have been shortlisted for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Yorkshire property awards.

City Park is in the running for a regeneration accolade.

The Appleton Academy building has been shortlisted for a design and innovation accolade.

Yorkshire Water’s bio-energy project will turn Esholt sewage works into the UK’s first energy-neutral treatment plant and is up for an Infrastructure award.

Forty regional projects have been shortlisted for eight awards categories, which also include building conservation, tourism and leisure, with an overall project of the year prize.

The winners will be announced in April.
