Bradford Older People's Centre runs free activities
9:00am Friday 1st March 2013 in News
Reminiscing and relaxation are among a range of free activities for older people in Bradford.
Bradford Older People’s Centre, supported by Bradford & District Senior Power and Age UK Bradford and District, is hosting a series of new Wednesday sessions at the Picnic Parlour, above Handmade in Bradford, 1 Tyrell Street, as part of its aim to establish a permanent base for older people in the city centre.
On Wednesday, visitors can reminisce about one of the city’s former flagship department stores – Brown, Muff & Co. They can play cards and games in the sessions, from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm.
A knitting drop-in takes place from 10am until noon on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month.
