The collectors
Volunteers heading to Pakistan with a convoy of 25 ambulances collected more than £200 for their mission in Bradford city centre.
Seven people from the area are joining a team of 50 volunteers from UK who will drive the vehicles 3,700 miles through eight countries.
They hope to offer the poverty-stricken Rawalpindi district its first official public ambulance network.
The vehicles will serve medical centres and hospitals within a 40-mile radius.
The scheme is a partnership between international aid agencies Muslim Hands UK and the National Police Aid Convoys.
People joining the convoy, which will leave on April 19, collected £225.69 on Saturday.
