A Keighley school threw open its doors to a group of young visitors who came along to learn about the wonders of the Solar System.
The primary school pupils were able to use the facilities at Holy Family Catholic School to take part in a day of space-related science.
The children from St Stephen’s Catholic Primary School, in Skipton, performed a variety of experiments to investigate features of the different parts of the Solar System.
These experiments were designed to answer questions such as why a rocket is needed to reach the Moon, and why water is so important for planet Earth.
A spokesman for Holy Family said the St Stephen’s pupils enjoyed the project and would make a return visit later in the year to present their scientific findings.
