A scheme run by a company to boost the lives of Bradford youngsters has received a record number of applications.
More than 50 good causes have submitted bids of up to £2,500 from the 2013 round of donations from the Leo Group Community Fund.
The fund is part of the company’s charitable programme which last year handed out £125,000 to good causes in every corner of the community.
“The response shows there is no shortage of excellent work being carried out by charities and grassroots organisations across the area,” said community engagement officer, Catherine Horn.
“It also highlights the positive difference they could make with some extra money.”
