A 17-year-old singer from Bradford has been given the thumbs up by judges in a talent competition.
Gina Laszlo, from Thornton, has made it through to the Regional Finals of TeenStar, a new competition for teenagers and pre-teens.
It means Gina, a musical theatre student at Leeds City College’s Park Lane campus, will now be performing at the live stages of the national talent competition.
The competition is organised by Future Music, which produces the Open Mic UK competition.
She said: “I’ve participated in lots of charity events and talent contests throughout my life and I think that it is now time to take it to the next stage.”
