Skipton Building Society adviser honoured for going extra mile

A building society worker has scooped a regional award.
Sharron Gledhill, a customer adviser at Skipton Building Society’s Cleckheaton branch, is celebrating after being named regional Customer Adviser of the Year at its annual conference.
She said: “I couldn’t believe it when my name was called at the awards evening. Winning this award has really topped everything that I’ve achieved in my career at Skipton so far.”
Judith Fleming, manager of the branch in Northgate, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Sharron has been recognised as our region’s top customer adviser.
“Every day Sharron goes that extra mile to do the best she can for our customers.
“Not only is she always on hand to give friendly advice, Sharron is also a great member of our team, and everyone is so pleased she has been recognised in this way.”
