Busking band’s Interchange storp on charity tour
10:00am Monday 25th February 2013 in News
Passengers at Bradford Interchange station are in for a musical treat today.
West Yorkshire band Live Lounge will be at the Metro bus station between 2pm and 2.30pm as part of a one-day whistle-stop fundraising tour.
They will also visit Huddersfield (11am to 11.30am), Dewsbury (12.30pm to 1pm) and Leeds (3.30pm to 4pm).
Live Lounge have been set the challenge of raising as much money as possible for 96.3 Radio Aire and Magic 828’s Cash for Kids Charity.
Former Metro employee and Live Lounge guitarist, Chris Moretti said: “I remember from my days at Metro how generous West Yorkshire’s bus passengers are so thought busking at bus stations was the ideal way to kick off fundraising for this great cause.”
