Four-vehicle crash causes M62 delays near Bradford

A four-vehicle crash and a breakdown are causing rush-hour misery for motorists on the M62.
Both incidents, which are unrelated, happened between junction 26 (Chain Bar) and junction 27 (Gildersome) on the eastbound carriageway.
A recovery team is on the scene dealing with the breakdown, which was reported at 5.39pm and has closed one lane of the motorway.
The crash, described as a minor shunt, happened at 5.30pm and was cleared “very quickly” according to a Highways Agency spokesman.
The spokesman added: “It is very busy there at the moment.”
Congestion is said to be snaking back to junction 24 (Ainley Top).
