Saltaire Arts Trail
An arts-inspired group based in world heritage village Saltaire is celebrating its new charitable status.
The voluntary organisation, called Saltaire Inspired has waited almost a year for the good news, which its members now hope will help it draw in more grants and funding.
And it wants to hear from businesses in the area who want to get onboard with to help its future plans.
Among its main events so far are the Saltaire Arts Trail, Living Advent Calendar and Makers Fair at the Saltaire Festival in September.
There were more than 9,000 visitors to last year’s Arts Trail and its popularity grows each year, said Pam Londsale of Saltaire Inspired. Plans are already underway for this year’s Trail which will take place over three days starting on May 25.
