David Hockney film screening organised in Bradford

A documentary about Bradford-born artist David Hockney will be shown at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery on Mother’s Day.

Bruno Wollheim’s film David Hockney: A Bigger Picture follows the artist over a three-year period as he paints the East Yorkshire landscape.

It will be screened on Sunday, March 10, between 2pm and 3pm, at the Lister Park venue.

Places are free but due to limited space it is necessary to book by calling (01274) 431212 or e-mailing cartwright.hall@bradford.gov.uk.

The screening has been organised as part of David Hockney: The Early Years on show until April 14. It will also be supported with an informal tour and a general introduction to David Hockney between 2pm and 2.30pm on March 14.
